Area Committee 01 Wards Avonmouth and Lawrence Weston Henbury and Brentry Southmead Horfield   What Are Area Committees?  Bristol has nine Area Committees that decide how local funds are allocated to improve their communities.   These committees are made up of local councillors who use their knowledge of the community to inform decision-making.   Each ward is part of one of these committees.
