About

The Bristol Licensing Committee is a statutory body responsible for overseeing licensing policy and functions under the Licensing Act 2003, aiming to promote the four licensing objectives: prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, prevention of public nuisance, and protection of children from harm.

It establishes a sub-committee that acts in a quasi-judicial capacity to consider and determine applications for Premises Licences, Club Premises Certificates, Personal Licences, and Temporary Event Notices. This sub-committee hears representations from applicants, responsible authorities, and the public.
