The West of England Joint Scrutiny Committee reviews and scrutinises the work of the West of England Combined Authority (WECA). It makes reports and recommendations on matters that affect the residents of the WECA area. The committee also includes an Audit Committee, which provides independent assurance on WECA's governance, internal controls, and risk management, and oversees financial reporting.
