Purpose

As a part of the Tackling Homelessness
Programme, the council has piloted an innovative scheme to deliver
new affordable housing in partnership with a modular manufacturer.
We have delivered 6 units under this ‘leaseback’
initiative and this decision was to approve £500k to be spent
enabling another 50 units to be delivered under the same leaseback
model in 25/26.
