Purpose

The Council wishes to commission a supplier to
support the delivery of disabled adaptations, focussing on the
supply of adaptations to bathrooms in BCC properties. This is in
addition to the existing BCC Disabled Adaptations framework which
is unable to manage the required volume of work due to issues
including supplier capacity, supplier performance issues, and
demand..
The proposed contract is for 18 months.

Direct Award to the top ranked supplier (CLC)
using an existing Framework Agreement - Procurement for Housing
(PfH) Responsive Repairs and Void Property Services Framework. The
route to market offered a quick, efficient and compliant route to
market which included access to a pool of qualified suppliers. The
framework providers demonstrated value for money through their
applications to the framework which resulted in the framework
ranking system, the council intends to award to the top ranked
provider.
