Purpose

Bristol City Council’s Families in Focus
team work with a number of families who we have a duty to house and
who are placed in emergency accommodation at significant cost to
the council. To support them to be able to secure private rented
tenancies, including employment support if needed, we are working
with BEAM to coach, support and enable these families to secure,
and sustain, affordable private rented accommodation

To spend up to £140,000 to commission
BEAM to help 14 households in emergency accommodation supported by
the Families in Focus team secure affordable private rented
tenancies and get into paid employment
