and refurbishment of Filwood Community Centre, part of the wider
Transforming Filwood Broadway regeneration project.
Bristol City Council has been granted Levelling Up Funding for the
Filwood Broadway Regeneration project and subsequent cabinet

and Regeneration to procure and award contracts to deliver the
project, in consultation with the S151 Officer, Cabinet Member for

the initial contract award with the relevant consultees.

Content

The decision is to approve the award of an
extension to a contract for multi-disciplinary design services for
Filwood Community Centre, led by lead consultant/architect Hayhurst
and Co., relating to the refurbishment and expansion of Filwood
Community Centre. The corresponding Statement of Work is entered
into pursuant to the Constellia SEWTAPS Vendor Neutral Contract and
the existing JCT Consultancy Agreement is extended. The preceding
Officer Executive Decision, made on 30/01/2024, set out the likely
extension to the contract subject to performance.

Alternative options considered

Option 1 - N/a. Appointment follows a
competitive two-stage tender process for the initial appointment. A
change in the consultant team at this stage would have a
considerable programme and cost impact.
