Purpose
£1,600,000 of capital funding will
secure the delivery of 104 affordable housing units at the Trinity
Road Development.
A mixed-use scheme comprising 104 one, two and three bedroom
apartments, a replacement police facility, and a small-scale
commercial unit (flexible use class), together with open space,
landscaping, parking and associated and ancillary
development.
90% of the units are M4(2) compliant
Content
To approve a grant funding allocation to
Guinness Partnership for £1,600,000 of Affordable Housing
Funding Policy (AHFP) Capital Grant Funding to support the delivery
of 104 affordable housing units at the Trinity Road
Development.
Guinness Partnership were invited to bid for AHFP Grant funding on
29 November 2023 following approval from Executive Director on 13
November 2023. A bid for Grant under the AHFP was subsequently
submitted via ProContract by Guinness Partnership on 8 December
2023 and then assessed and moderated by an independent officer
panel. The officer recommendation was to award.
