Purpose

With the Hard FM contract being out to tender,
due to the amount of clarification questions from bidders, an
extension to the bidder’s return date was agreed, therefore,
we needed to extend the existing Hard FM contract by the two
months.

Content

Based upon current spend, a two month
extension to the existing arrangement has been agreed, with the new
Hard FM contract coming into effect on 1st July 2025

Alternative options considered

Option 1 - Due to the need for compliance
activities to be met, a new contractor would not have been
mobilised by the end of the existing arrangement (30/4/25),
therefore, a two month extension is the only option.
