To approve Bristol’s element of
WECA’s LEVI Stage 2 bid submission
To note that the bid will come to a cabinet or committee for
approval in 2023/24 for approval to submit to the 3rd and final
stage of the bidding process should the stage 2 application be
successful

Alternative options considered

Option 1 - Not to pursue the LEVI funding
opportunity – rejected due to loss of funding to meet council
objectives
Option 2 - To seek approval after the Stage 2 submission –
rejected in order to promote transparency with the bid
