Purpose

Following an open tender procedure the
contractor returned the Most Economical Advantageous Tender under
the evaluation process. This project was identified in the Housing
Investment Plan and BCC’s commitment to replace EPS cladding
to all our tower blocks. This project is part of Social Housing
Decarbonisation Funding.

Content

In line with the Housing Investment Programme
2023/24, award the contract to install new A1/A2 cladding system
with a brick slip and render finish, new windows, new roof and
Automatic opening Vent to stairwells ensuring compliance with
current legislation and PAS 2035 requirements. Project part of
Social Housing Decarbonisation Funding grant
