Purpose

To provide an update on progress of the
Bristol Temple Quarter programme

Content

That the Committee for Economy and Skills:
 

1.     
Noted the update of the BTQ LLP outlined in the report.

2.     
Noted the Executive Director Growth and Regeneration has taken all
necessary steps to terminate the Agreement for Lease and recover
possession of Redcliffe Wharf site and return the £516,000
Brownfield Land Release Fund.

3.     
Authorised the Executive Director Growth and Regeneration in
consultation with the Director of Finance to agree the terms for,
and thereafter conclude, option agreements (and associated
documentation) with the BTQ LLP for Redcliffe Wharf (as identified
at Appendix A3 subject to satisfaction of the best consideration
test being met under section 123(1) Local Government Act 1972;
