Purpose

The Harbour Authority reviews fees and charges
on an annual basis and, when doing this, will compare its fees and
charges next to other harbour authorities and marinas. The Harbour
Authority must work towards a position where it is financially
self-sustainable without the support of the Council’s General
Fund. To support the Harbour Authority in achieving becoming
financially self-sustainable all fees and charges, rents, licences
etc have to be regularly reviewed.
