Purpose

1.     
To seek approval to progress the schemes laid out in the 2025/2026
and 2026/2027 Local Transport Programme.

2.     
To accept and allocate the associated funding requirements to
implement the Local Transport Programme from the Clean Air Zone
(CAZ) contribution to local transport projects.

Content

That the Committee for Transport &
Connectivity
1. Approved the 2025/26 and 2026/27 local
transport programme delivery plans
2. Approved the drawdown of £2,412,456
from the CAZ local transport projects contributions.
3. Authorised the Executive Director Growth
and Regeneration in consultation with the Chair of the Transport
and Connectivity Committee to take all steps required to spend the
funding (including procuring and awarding contracts over the key
decision threshold) to deliver the local transport programme as set
out in the report.
4. Authorised the Executive Director in
discussion with the Transport and Connectivity Committee chair to
adjust allocation amounts within the overall budget envelope
