To seek approval in principle of a trial of
cross-pavement charging as outlined in the report.

Content

That the Committee for
Transport and Connectivity
1.          
Approved the principle of a trial of cross-pavement charging as
outlined in the report.
 
2.          
Delegated responsibility for developing and delivering the trial to
the Executive Director for Growth and Regeneration in consultation
with the Policy Chair for Transport and Connectivity
 
Contractual:
1.          
Authorised the Executive Director for Growth and Regeneration in
consultation with the Chair of the Transport and Connectivity
Committee to commit resource and enter into any necessary contracts
to deliver a trial of cross-pavement charging in-line with the
procurement routes and maximum budget envelopes outlined in the
report.
 
2.          
Authorised the Executive Director for Growth and Regeneration to
invoke any subsequent extensions/variations specifically defined in
the contract(s) being awarded, up to the maximum budget envelope
outlined in the report.
