a. Operational asset
disposal – 146 Grosvenor Road, St Pauls
 
The Committee RESOLVED (5 members voting in
favour and 3 against):
 
1. To approve the sale, on the
open market, of 146 Grosvenor Road, St Pauls, BS2 8YA.
 
2. To authorise the Executive
Director: Growth and Regeneration, in consultation with the Chair
of the Strategy and Resources Committee, to take all steps required
to dispose of the asset, including entering into necessary legal
agreements as set out in the report.
 
b. Commercial asset
disposal – 107-141 St George’s Road and 2-16
Jacob’s Wells Road
 
The Committee RESOLVED (5
members voting in favour, none against and with 3
abstentions):
 
1. To approve the report and
recommendation.
 
2. To authorise the Executive
Director: Growth and Regeneration, in consultation with the
Director of Finance and the Committee Chair, to approve the
marketing and subsequent sale of the council’s freehold
interest in all the buildings and land comprised in 107-141 St
George’s Road and 2-16 Jacob’s Wells Road, at market
value, in accordance with s.123 of the Local Government Act 1972
(England and Wales), less normal costs of sale.
