Purpose

To seek approval to accept and spend
government funding for community learning from WECA and the
Education and Skills Funding Agency.

Content

That the Committee for Economy and Skills

1.     
Authorised the Head of Service (Employment, Skills and Lifelong
Learning) in consultation with the Chair of the Economy and Skills
Committee to take all steps required to negotiate with WECA and the
ESFA to accept and spend all Adult Skills, Tailored Learning and
Skills Bootcamp funding streams of up to £2m to deliver the
Community Learning and Skills Bootcamp programmes outlined in this
report.

2.     
Approved the Adult Learning Service Fees Policy for 2025/26.
