That the Committee
for Transport and Connectivity
1.
Approved the acceptance of
the next tranches of the Active Travel Fund of £2,286,807 for
Bristol which will fund active travel project delivery and
development in Bristol until the funding deadline of March
2027.

Endorsed the specific
schemes or initiatives that will be funded through this allocation
which are: Prince Street Bridge design and delivery, A4 Bath
Bridges walking and cycling development project, delivery of two
School Streets, delivery of secure cycle storage, and behaviour
change initiatives.

Authorised the Executive
Director Growth and Regeneration in consultation with the Chair of
Transport and Connectivity Committee to take all steps required to
spend the funding to deliver active travel projects, including
procuring and awarding contracts above the key decision threshold,
in-line with the maximum budget envelopes and as outlined in this
report.

Authorised the Executive
Director Growth and Regeneration to invoke any subsequent
extensions/variations specifically defined in the contract(s) being
awarded, up to the maximum budget envelope outlined in this
report.
