Purpose

To seek approval to spend against block
accommodation contracts called off the emergency accommodation
framework.

Content

The Committee RESOLVED (unanimous vote in
favour):
 
1. To approve the proposal to spend up to
£4.1m on block booked emergency framework accommodation over
2 years.
 
2. To authorise the Executive Director for
Children and Education in consultation with the Chair of the
Children and Young People Committee to take all steps required to
undertake the block bookings under the Emergency Accommodation
Framework in line with the maximum budget envelopes and as set out
in the report.
