Purpose

To provide the Committee with an update on the
council’s vision for the property, and to seek approval of
the next steps for its future.

The Committee RESOLVED:
 
1. To note the report and the Lambert Smith
Hampton (LSH) report on Ashton Court Mansion.
 
2. To endorse the approach that officers
continue discussions with Bristol Historic Buildings Trust on the
exclusivity terms set out in the report in relation to the proposed
lease and the related full business case (unanimous vote in
favour).
 
3. To note that a further report will be
brought back to the committee to provide an update and seek
approval to proceed subject to the outcome of the discussions.
