Purpose

On 13 October 2025 Strategy and Resources
Committee approved the submission of the bid to be a host city for
the 2035 FIFA Women’s World Cup Finals and authorised the
Chief Executive in consultation with the Chair of the Strategy and
Resources Committee to take all steps required to submit the bid
and enter into any necessary agreements to progress the bid and
spend the approved funding (including procuring and awarding
contracts).

Content

To enter into the host city agreement and
associated documents to progress the bid in accordance with the
delegated authority from the Strategy and Resources Committee on 13
October 2025.
