delegations to be applied to the placement of children in social
care and education

The Committee RESOLVED:  UNANIMOUSLY

 

 

To approve the new scheme of delegations
undertake spot purchasing of residential care and Independent
Non-Maintained Special School placements for children and young
people as set out in this report.

 

To authorise the Executive Director Children and Education and
officers identified the staff of the directorate to undertake spot
purchasing as described in the table above.

 

To authorise the panel consisting of the Executive Director
Children and Education and Director Strategic Improvement and
Collaboration or Director Children and Families to take all steps
required to implement placements over the key decision threshold up
to £1m as outlined in this report.
