Purpose

To seek approval to procure and award a contract for the supply and maintenance of Urban Traffic Management and Control systems.

Decision

That the Committee for Transport and Connectivity:

1. Approved the proposal for the procurement of a new contract for the supply and maintenance of UTMC (software) systems.

Contractual:

1. Authorised the Executive Director for Growth and Regeneration in consultation with the Committee Chair for Transport and Connectivity to procure and award the supply and maintenance of Bristol’s UTMC (software) systems, in-line with the procurement routes and maximum budget envelopes outlined in the report.
2. Authorised the Executive Director for Growth and Regeneration to invoke any subsequent extensions/variations specifically defined in the contract(s) being awarded, up to the maximum budget envelope outlined in the report.
