Purpose

To seek approval to procure and award a new Highway Condition and AI Digital Safety Inspections Contract.

Decision

That the Committee for Transport and Connectivity

1. Authorised the Executive Director for Growth and Regeneration in consultation with Chair of the Transport and Connectivity Committee to procure and award the Highway Condition and Digital Safety Inspections Contract, in-line with the procurement routes and maximum budget envelopes outlined in the report.
2. Authorised the Executive Director for Growth and Regeneration to invoke any subsequent extensions/variations specifically defined in the contract being awarded, up to the maximum budget envelope outlined in the report.
