Purpose

To provide an update on the Bristol Temple Quarter programme and the work of the BTQ LLP since the last Economy & Skills Committee update in November 2025.

Decision

The Committee (unanimously) RESOLVED:

1. 1.      To note the updates provided in the report
2. 2.      To endorse in principle that up to £2 million of EDF2 funding is made available to support Bristol Temple Quarter LLP costs, and delegates authority to the Executive Director, Growth & Regeneration, in consultation with the Director of Finance, to agree the terms, governance route (including WECA approval), and arrangements required to make this funding available.
