To seek approval of the St Nicholas Market Vision

Decision

That the Committee for Economy and Skills

1. Endorsed the St Nicholas Market Vision and authorise the Executive Director Growth and Regeneration to take forward the next stages of development and implementation in accordance with its strategic objectives as outlined in this report.
2. Endorsed the early establishment of the St Nicholas Market Stakeholder Group governance structure for key partners including traders and wider Old City stakeholders.
3. Noted that proposals for funding will be submitted as part of the 2027/28 budget setting process to aid the implementation of the St Nicholas Market Vision, and external funding opportunities will be identified and pursued.
