Purpose

To seek approval, subject to allocation of funding, to establish a members’ Task and Finish Group to consider how to improve safety in parks and green spaces for all visitors, specifically in response to the Silver Motion resolved at Full Council on safer, more inclusive parks for women and girls.

Decision

The Committee RESOLVED (unanimously) to:

1. Approve the proposed development programme and the establishment of a Members’ Task and Finish Group from May 2027 pending project development funding being allocated in the 27/28 budget.
