Purpose

Permission needed to enter into contract of a value of £185,224.55 with ETM Contractors Ltd to deliver St Marks Road Improvement Works which will include the resurfacing of St Marks Road, and replacement of the bollards.
The funding has 2 sources:
1)£60,000 of CIL Funding committed by Area Committee 4 on 3 October 2019.
2)£125,224.55 funded through the overall highways maintenance budget.

Decision

Approval to enter into a contract with ETM Contractors Ltd to deliver St Marks Road Improvement project, under the terms of the Highways Framework Lot 5, wherein a partial competition tender process was completed.

Alternative options considered

No options considered, these works were requested by local councillors and residents and have been developed over a number of years alongside councillors.
