The
Committee RESOLVED (unanimously):
1.
To approve the spend and procurement of a contract to deliver
payment vouchers to fulfil the council’s need, via a variety
of services, to assist low-income households as outlined in the
report.
2.
To authorise the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Chair of
the Strategy and Resources Policy Committee, to take all the steps
required to procure and award a contract or contracts to provide
emergency payment vouchers at an estimated value of up £15m
from October 2024 to October 2027.
