To seek approval to award a block contract for
independent special school placements

Content

The
Children and Young People Policy Committee:

1. Authorised the Executive Director of Children and
Education, in consultation with Chair of the Children and Young
People’s Committee to procure and award the INM block
contract in-line with the procurement routes and maximum budget
envelopes outlined in this report.

2. Authorised the Executive Director of Children and
Education, to invoke any subsequent extensions/variations
specifically defined in the contract(s) being awarded, up to the
maximum budget envelope outlined in this report.
