That the proposed joint funding and
commissioning of Children’s Community Health Services with
the South East London Integrated Care Board be approved for the
duration of the five-year direct award of the Community Health
Contract as set out in Report CEF25071.
Subject to the funding agreement, that these
services continue to be held within the Section 75 agreement
between the Local Authority and the South East London Integrated
Care Board.
Reasons for the decision
The Local Authority has a longstanding and
formal agreement with the South East
London Integrated Care Board (SELICB) for the joint funding and
commissioning of services supporting children and young people
within the current Bromley community health contract. This is supported by Section 75 of the Health and
Social Care Act 2006 agreement which enables the SELICB to
commission services on behalf of the Local Authority, providing a
streamlined commissioning and funding process with a robust
governance framework.
