Plans Sub-Committee No. 2 of Bromley Council approved the installation of photovoltaic solar panels to the Walnuts Leisure Centre roof on 16 July 2026. The decision was made to enhance existing leisure centre facilities without negatively impacting local residents or the area's character. The approved plans include the retention of 192 solar PV panels on the swimming pool roof.
