Decision

The Portfolio Holder for Transport, Highways and Road Safety approved the priority junction improvement scheme as shown in Appendix A of the Albemarle Road and Westgate Road Junction Reconfiguration Report, for implementation with any minor detailed design amendments addressed under delegated authority.

Reasons for the decision

The Portfolio Holder approved the scheme, as the recommended option retained and improved the existing priority junction arrangement and introduced a contra-flow cycling facility northbound on Westgate Rd.
