The Standards Committee was responsible for matters concerning the conduct of Bromsgrove District Council Members and members of 19 Parish Councils within the District. It also oversaw complaints made to the Ombudsman against the Council.
The committee handled issues related to the Members' Code of Conduct, reviewed the whistle-blowing policy, and oversaw complaints handling and Ombudsman investigations. It also provided oversight of the Council's constitution and reviewed internal and external audit functions. This committee has now been combined with the Audit, Standards and Governance Committee and no longer meets.
