The Cabinet of Bury Council approved the Annual HRA Budget for 2026/27 and rent setting on 11 February 2026. This included approving the HRA Capital Investment Plan, setting social and affordable rents at a 4.8% increase, and increasing garage rents, sheltered management and support charges, service and amenity charges, support and heating charges, and furnished tenancy charges by 4.8%. The decision also approved the re-introduction of Rent Convergence from April 2027.
