The Cabinet of Bury Council decided to approve recommendations regarding the closure of Six Town Housing LTD on 30 June 2026. The council will proceed with a phase of soft market testing to assess interest in options for transferring the entity or its housing stock to another Registered Provider. This includes commissioning stock condition surveys and preparing a 30-year business plan.
