The Cabinet of Bury Council approved recommendations for the Draft 2027/28 Budget on 14/10/2026. The Cabinet approved the updated Medium-Term Financial Strategy to 2029/30 and the draft revenue budget for 2027/28 as the basis for consultation. This included approving public consultation on draft budget assumptions and new savings, and authorising the Section 151 Officer to explore Exceptional Financial Support with MHCLG.
