The Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority approved the full Business Case for the Further Education Industry Placements (Construction) programme on 24 August 2026. This decision authorises the expenditure of £1,213,838 in Department for Education funding to support the programme from April 2026 to March 2029. A compliant procurement process will be undertaken for the Employer Engagement and Work Experience Service.
