Purpose

Following a successful tender process, this report seeks
approval of the award of contract to Cater Link Limited
(Caterlink), for a school meals service on behalf of Camden schools
who opt into the Council’s school meals arrangements.
The new contract will commence on 1st April 2025
for a period of 3 years, with two extensions of 1 year each, and a
total estimated aggregate value (including extensions) of
£20.110 million.
 
The contract award report is being presented to Executive
Director, Children and Learning following consultation with the
Cabinet Member for Best Start for Children and Families for
approval in line with the delegation agreed by Cabinet in the
Procurement
Strategy Report. 

Content

THAT the Executive Director Children and Learning, following
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Best Start for Children
and Families, agrees the award of the contract to Cater Link
Limited for a period of 3 years (including 2 contract extensions of
1 year each) for the estimated sum of £4.022 million per
annum (£20.110 million in aggregate including contract
extensions).
