Purpose

This report seeks approval to award 2 contracts for
Electric Vehicle Charging Points (EVCPs) following a successful
tender process. The tender process provided for three distinct
contracts. However, due to the total estimated value of the third
contract, its approval will be considered separately. A specific
report concerning this contract will be submitted to the Cabinet
Member for a Sustainable Camden for review and potential
award.

This report therefore seeks approval from the Executive
Director Supporting Communities to award the following contracts in
line with Contract Standing Orders:

-
Lot 1: Fast Charge Points

-
Lot 2: Rapid Charge Points

These charge points are funded by
a combination of the On-street Residential Chargepoint Scheme
(£600,000), Council capital funding (£700,000) and the
Council’s Climate Investment Bond (£169,000), with the
remainder being funded by the charge point
operators.

The Council followed a single-stage, closed tender
(shortlisting from the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) of Crown
Commercial Services (CCS) framework RM6213). The outcome of this
process was as follows;

-
Lot 1 (Fast Charge Points), Total Energies Ltd were
successful

-
