Purpose

Following a successful tender process, this report seeks
approval of the award of contract for Arboricultural Services to
Treehab Limited. The contract is for the provision of
arboricultural services, including but not limited to, general
pruning works, crown reductions, crown lifting, felling of trees,
removal of stumps, and planting new or replacement trees. To also
attend and clear tree emergencies in and out of working hours.
These services will be supplied across the highways, councils
housing estates, council street properties, temporary
accommodation, education sites, parks, and corporate properties.
The contract will be for a period of 4 years, to commence on
1st April 2025 for an estimated total aggregate value of
£4,794,820.
 
The contract award report is being presented to the
Executive Director Supporting Communities for approval in line with
Contract Standing Orders.

THAT the Executive Director Supporting Communities
to whom this report is submitted agrees the award of the contract
to Treehab Limited for a period of 4 years for the estimated sum of
£1,198,705 per annum (£4,794,820 in aggregate).
