RESOLVED –
 
THAT, having considered the proposals in relation to the
objectives set out in Camden’s Transport Strategy, the design
amendments made in response to feedback received in the public
consultation, the public Consultation Summary Report (Appendix B),
the Equality Impact Assessment (Appendix C), and having had due
regard to the needs set out in section 149 of the Equality Act
2010, and following consultation with the Cabinet Member for
Planning and a Sustainable Camden:
 
(i)           
The proposal to implement permanent changes in the
pedestrianised section of North Gower Street be approved, subject
to compliance with relevant statutory requirements; and
 
(ii)          
Authority be delegated to the Chief Engineer to take any
further decisions relating to the detailed design and
implementation of this scheme, subject to compliance with relevant
statutory requirements.
