Purpose

This report is being submitted to the Director of
Recreation to consider a proposed change to the way tennis coaching
is managed at Camden parks sites, with the introduction of tennis
coach licences and registration of our park tennis courts as venues
with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).

Content

THAT the Director of Recreation, following consultation with the
Cabinet Member for Planning and a Sustainable Camden, agrees that
the Council registers park tennis sites as Lawn Tennis Association
venues and introduces the requirement for coaching licenses.
