Purpose

To consider a procurement strategy to appoint a contractor that
will deliver Roof Safety Inspection repairs and renewal to HRA
Homes.

Consideration was given to a report of the Executive Director
Supporting Communities
 
DECISION –
 
THAT having had due regard to the Equalities Impact
Assessment (Appendix 1 of the report), and the obligations in
section 149 of the Equality Act 2010, the Cabinet Member for Better
Homes agrees:
 

     
i)        
To approve the procurement strategy for a contract for the
provision of Roof Safety Systems Inspection, Repair and Renewal for
three years with an option to extend by two years in increments of
one year using a Competitive Flexible Procedure for an estimated
value of £4.8 million; and
 

    
ii)        
To delegate authority to the Executive Director of Supporting
Communities to award the contact.
