Purpose
This report seeks endorsement for an award of a contract
to Valcon Group UK Ltd for the provision of a new Master Data
Management solution.
The total value of the procurement after tender
clarification is £1,312,000 over 3 years from March 2025
(excluding an optional contract extension period).
The contract will be split into two service requirements
1) software licences, £390,000 and 2) implementation/support
(£922,000). However, it should be noted that should the
software and support services be required for an extended period,
where, the Council reserves the right to request to extend the
contract by up to 12 months as is allowable when calling- off
GCloud 14 framework for an estimated aggregated total value in the
region of £1,556,000.
The Executive Director Corporate Services is asked to
approve this award in accordance with Camden’s Contract
Standing Orders and scheme of delegation.

Approves the award of the contract to Valcon for an initial
contract term of 3 years including an option to extend for up to an
additional 12 month period (subject to budget
and internal procurement approval) for a total value in the region
of £1,556,000 over 4 years as set out in this report.
To note that the request for a contract extension period of up
to 12 months, may be requested during the contract term, should
this be required.
