Consideration was given to a report of the Director of Property
Management.
DECISION –
THAT the Cabinet Member for Better Homes:
Approve receipt of loss of light compensation for Chamberlain
House, Hadstock House, and Levita House, following consultation
with the Executive Director Supporting Communities and the Borough
Solicitor.
Note the calculations in the Part II appendix to this
report.
Delegate authority to the Director of Property Management to
instruct Legal Services to execute the Deed of Release of the
rights of light and the Compensation Deed.
Agree that, with the agreement of the Chair of the Housing
Scrutiny Committee, the above decisions be exempt from call in for
the reasons set out at paragraph 2.4 of the report.
