RESOLVED –
THAT, following consultation with the Director of Environment
and Sustainability, and having considered the rationale and
criteria for the proposals in this report, and subject to
compliance with relevant statutory requirements:
·
The responses received relating to the installation of 42 new bike
hangars during: (1) the informal public consultation undertaken
from 26th September 2024 to 17th October 2024; and (2)
the statutory TMO consultation also undertaken from 26th
September 2024 to 18th October 2024, be noted;
·
The recommended proposals, including where necessary the making and
implementation of the TMO amendments consulted on for 42 new bike
hangars at the 21 sites as summarised in sections 2 and 7 of this
report (Heath Hurst Road proposal to be amended to retain disabled
bay), be approved;
·
The recommended proposals, including where necessary the making and
implementation of the TMO amendments consulted on for an extension
of an existing dockless vehicle parking bay (rental e-bikes and
e-scooters) at 1 of the 21 sites as summarised in sections 2 and 7
of this report, be approved;
·
Authority be delegated to the Transport Design Team Manager to take
any further decisions required for the implementation of the
recommended proposals.
