Purpose

This report outlines the procurement strategy for the
procurement of a combined role for the Employer’s Agent (EA)
and Project Manager (PM) for the Camley Street project at Site A
(120 Camley Street), which is the portion being retained by the
London Borough of Camden (LBC) and developed for affordable
housing. It is proposed that this consultant appointment will also
provide PM/EA services to support the LBC depot relocation from
Cedar Way to Freight Lane.

The estimated total value for the appointment of the
Employer’s Agent is £450,000 with an anticipated
contract period of approximately 5 years or until the end of Royal
Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Stage 7, whichever comes
last. RIBA Stage 7 In Use is where the building is in operation and
being well maintained.

Approval is sought to utilise the Notting Hill Genesis
(NHG) Lot 10 for the Employer’s Agents appointment. A
framework is a compliant and cost-effective route to market to
procure this solution. The framework offers pre-defined pricing and
the opportunity for suppliers to clarify their offering together
with innovation and social value, which can be scored against our
evaluation criteria.
