Purpose

This report requests that the Executive
Director Corporate Services, following consultation with the
Cabinet Member for Voluntary Sector, Equalities and Cohesion,
approves the recommended We Make Camden Project Fund grant awards
detailed in the report, in line with the Council’s
Constitution.
 

Content

THAT, following consultation with the Cabinet
Member for Voluntary Sector, Equalities and Cohesion:
 

(i)                
The allocation of We Make Camden
Project Fund 2025/26-2027/28 grants totalling £805,662 in
accordance with the fund criteria set out in Section 2.5 below be
agreed;
 

(ii)               
The individual grant awards and
lengths detailed in Appendix 1 of this report and summarised in the table below be
agreed; and
 

(iii)             
The Head of Community Partnerships
and the Director of Equalities and Community Strength be authorised
to award grants from the We Make Camden Project Fund for the
lifecycle of the Voluntary and Community Sector investment
programme (2024-2031), following consultation with the Cabinet
Member for the Voluntary Sector, Equalities and Cohesion.
Authorisation of grant awards is in accordance with the process set
out in Section 3.14 of the report, and with the following
authorisation limits:

a)  Up
to and including £10,000 – Head of Community
Partnerships following consultation with the Cabinet Member for the
Voluntary Sector, Equalities and Cohesion

b)  Up
to and including £20,000 – Director of Equalities and
Community Strength following consultation with the Cabinet Member
for the Voluntary Sector, Equalities and Cohesion
