Purpose

This report outlines details of
the Council’s proposal to convert an existing dedicated
disabled parking bay to a general disabled parking bay outside 42
Rosebery Avenue, EC1R and seeks approval from the Chief Engineer
for its implementation.

This follows notification that the
dedicated disabled bay is no longer required, and priorities the
needs of other blue badge holders in the local area by providing a
new general disabled parking bay on Rosebery Avenue.

 

The proposal meets the aims of We
Make Camden by improving the quality of life for blue badge
holders, enabling them to live a more independent and active
life.

THAT the Chief Engineer, subject
to compliance with relevant statutory requirements and detailed
design, approves the conversion of an existing dedicated disabled
bay to a general disabled bay outside 42 Rosebery Avenue,
EC1R.
